Please join us for this interactive training on "How to staff a voter education/registration table". We will review the basics of setting up a table and responding to voter questions. We will do multiple role plays so that everyone can practice answering questions and providing information to the people who stop by our tables. The training will be in the Thirlby Room at the Traverse Main library (610 Woodmere, TC).
Meeting of the Advocacy Committee 10:00 by Zoom. The Advocacy Committee will be meeting (virtually) at 10:00am to plan activities to advocate for policy positions adopted by the LWV-Grand Traverse Area Chapter. the second Monday of each month. In order to be a well-informed citizen, sometimes we need to do some digging to determine if what we‘re seeing in the news or social media can be considered the truth. Please us for this informative program where you‘ll learn the steps to take to verify the information on the internet and be savvy consumers of news. In-person at the Traverse Main library.
