The League of Women Voters Grand Traverse Area Announces:

1st Congressional Candidate Forum

Candidates for the U.S House of Representatives will be participating in a League sponsored public forum on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 7 – 8:30p.m. This forum will be broadcast by Traverse Area Community Media (TACM) on TV Channel 189 and livestreamed on Facebook LWVGTA and Facebook TACM.

Grand Traverse County Board of Commissioners Candidate Forum

Candidates for the Grand Traverse County Board of Commissioners will be participating in a League sponsored public forum on Wednesday October 5 from 7 – 8:30p.m. This forum will be broadcast by Traverse Area Community Media (TACM) on TV Channel 189 and livestreamed on Facebook LWVGTA and Facebook TACM.

TCAPS Board of Education Candidate Forum

Candidates for the Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) will be participating in a League sponsored public forum on Wednesday October 12 from 6pm – 7:30p.m. This forum will be held in person in the McGuire Room at the Traverse Area District Library, 610 Woodmere Ave.
Traverse City, MI 49686. It will be broadcast by Traverse Area Community Media (TACM) on TV Channel 189 and livestreamed on Facebook LWVGTA and Facebook TACM.

The League of Women Voters Grand Traverse Area invites all citizens to attend these forums, either in-person or on-line. The forums will be recorded for later viewing at TACM or Facebook LWVGTA. Questions for the candidates may be submitted during the forums or in advance through the LWVGTA Facebook.
